"Untitled" ≠ "Freedom" — Exploring the Construction of a Personal Viewing Experience Born from Abstract Dance
This work explores how the absence of a title—and the deliberate withholding of a concrete concept—can lead to the construction of a uniquely personal viewing experience for each audience member.
Performed by five dancers, the piece begins in a dim, heavy, and ambiguous atmosphere, gradually unfolding toward a space where each dancer’s individuality and physical presence can emerge vividly.
Following the performance, a Post-Performance Discussion was held in the theater, inviting audience members to share the diverse images and impressions they associated with the piece. Through dialogue among the creator, dancers, and audience, the project sought to deepen engagement and examine how contemporary dance can become a medium for shared reflection and exchange.
